Ya’akov Cohen, who took part in an attack on an Arab taxi driver in Bat Yam during a period of rioting in mixed Arab-Israeli cities including Jaffo, Akko, and others, has been sentenced to 15 months in jail.
The rioting took place during Israel’s operation Guardian of the Walls in Gaza following rocket attacks targeting Jerusalem and cities in the South.
