The Knesset members of the Agudat Yisrael Party gathered on Wednesday evening for a meeting at Minister Yitzhak Goldknopf’s home, during which it was decided to insist on the addition of the retroactive budget for Kollel students and yeshivas, which they say was promised to them in the coalition agreement.
The amount in question is 627 million shekels that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich have refused to allocate to the haredim.
