Hundreds of pagers exploded simultaneously in Lebanon today in what appears to be an operation against Hezbollah. Small amounts of explosives were hidden within Taiwanese-made pagers imported into Lebanon. The pagers received a message that activated the explosives, resulting in casualties and injuries. Israel has not commented or claimed responsibility. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is reportedly considering firing his defense minister.
