Wednesday Briefing

Thousands of pagers exploded simultaneously in Lebanon in what appears to be an operation against Hezbollah. The pagers, made in Taiwan and imported into Lebanon, had small amounts of explosives hidden in them by Israel. At least 11 people were killed and over 2,700 were injured. Lebanon's foreign minister expects a major retaliation by Hezbollah. In other news, groups supporting Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump have reserved over half a billion dollars in television and radio ads for the final seven weeks of the campaign, with 63% supporting Harris. Democrats have significantly outraised Republicans since Harris joined the ticket.
