Kuwait's trade surplus with Japan increased by 15% to $542.8 million in August, driven by a surge in Kuwaiti exports to Japan. This marks the first increase in two months and continues Kuwait's 16-year trade surplus with Japan. Kuwaiti exports to Japan grew by 11.8% in August, while imports from Japan rose for the fourth consecutive month. In contrast, the Middle East's overall trade surplus with Japan fell by 4.8% in August.
