Arab-American and Muslim voters angry at US support for Israel's offensive in Gaza are turning away from Democrat Kamala Harris and supporting third-party candidate Jill Stein in battleground states. A poll by the Council on American-Islamic Relations showed that Stein leads among Muslim voters in Michigan, Arizona, and Wisconsin, while Harris is favored in Georgia and Pennsylvania. Muslim backing of Democrats has fallen sharply since Israel's actions in Gaza. Stein's support for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza and an immediate US arms embargo on Israel has made her popular among pro-Palestinian circles.
