Israeli online game developer Playtika has agreed to acquire Tel Aviv-based gaming startup SuperPlay for up to $1.95 billion. Playtika will pay an upfront $700 million for the mobile gaming firm, with an additional consideration of up to $1.25 billion depending on financial targets. SuperPlay, founded in 2019, operates a game development studio and has created two online games. The acquisition is expected to strengthen Playtika's leadership in mobile gaming and drive growth with scaled titles.
