Israel released photos of Hezbollah munitions stored in Lebanese civilian homes as evidence to justify its strikes on residences across Lebanon. The weapons included cruise missiles, rockets, and drones. Israel targeted around 1,600 Hezbollah sites, with most of them being weapons stored in homes. The IDF Chief of Staff called the campaign a proactive offensive operation. Israeli officials had warned Lebanese civilians to flee areas where Hezbollah weapons were hidden, resulting in hundreds of deaths and injuries in Lebanon.
