The United States is presenting 'concrete' ideas to ease the crisis in Lebanon and prevent further escalation in the fighting. The US opposes an Israeli ground invasion and hopes to find a diplomatic solution that allows communities on both sides of the border to safely return home. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and other senior US officials will be discussing these ideas at the UN General Assembly.
