The United States is presenting 'concrete' ideas to ease the crisis in Lebanon and prevent further escalation in the fighting. The US official opposes any Israeli ground invasion to target Hezbollah and hopes to find a diplomatic process to allow communities on both sides of the border to safely return home. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and other senior US officials will be discussing these ideas during meetings at the UN General Assembly.
