Bulgaria orders extradition to France of Paris Holocaust memorial vandalism suspect

A Bulgarian court has approved the extradition of Georgi Filipov to France, one of three Bulgarians wanted for vandalizing Paris's main Holocaust memorial. Filipov is accused of daubing red hand marks on the memorial's Wall of the Righteous. The vandalism occurred during heightened tensions in France over the war in Gaza. The court ruled that Filipov be detained until his transfer.
