Cpl. Ofir Davidian, an 18-year-old logistics soldier in the Home Front Command, was killed on October 7 when Hamas terrorists overran the Urim IDF base near Gaza. Ofir had recently enlisted in the IDF and was assigned to the Urim base just three weeks before the attack. She and two other soldiers were shot dead by Hamas gunmen while trying to reach the war room on the base. Ofir was remembered as a doting older sister who excelled in her studies and loved music and makeup. Her family described her as the light of the house and the light of the family.
