German security forces have arrested a Libyan national suspected of planning a terror attack on Israel's embassy in Berlin. The 28-year-old man, believed to be a supporter of the Islamic State, was taken into custody after alerts from foreign intelligence services. The suspect, identified as Omar A., will face a judge on Sunday. Germany has increased vigilance against Islamist terror threats and antisemitism since the Hamas attack on Israel in October 2023.
