Nova survivor takes her own life on her 22nd birthday; family claims state didn't help with her PTSD

A 22-year-old woman who survived the Hamas massacre at the Supernova music festival has died by suicide, with her family claiming that the state did not provide adequate help for her post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Shirel Golan's family says she experienced symptoms of PTSD and was hospitalized twice. Her brother stated that she felt unsupported by the state and relied on aid from the Tribe of Nova Community Association. The Welfare and Social Services Ministry denies the family's claims, stating that Golan received recognition and treatment within the welfare system.
