Indonesia's new government has called on the UN Security Council to take action to end Israel's war on Gaza and its deadly siege of the enclave's northern region. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has urged Israel to stop attacking the besieged enclave and demanded that the UN Security Council intervene. Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto reiterated the country's support for Palestine and expressed readiness to help those affected by the conflict. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also condemned Israeli attacks on healthcare facilities and medical workers in northern Gaza as violations of international law.
