Cpl. Nik Beizer, a soldier in COGAT's Gaza District Coordination and Liaison office, was kidnapped by Hamas on October 7 and killed in an Israeli airstrike in Gaza on November 10. His body was recovered on December 14. Nik was buried on December 17 and is survived by his parents, sister, and girlfriend. He was known for his love of animals, martial arts, singing karaoke, cooking, and drifting with friends.
