Cpl. Ilay Azar, an 18-year-old soldier in the Gaza Division, was killed while battling Hamas during the invasion of the Re'im IDF base on October 7. He had recently enlisted in the IDF and had a passion for music, writing songs, and DJing. His family released a song he wrote and recorded called 'La'uf el Hashamayim' after his death. Ilay's father expressed his grief and admiration for his son, describing him as a talented, brave, and loving person.
