US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has stated that he has not seen evidence of a Hezbollah cash bunker under a hospital in Beirut. Israel's military had claimed that Hezbollah had stashed hundreds of millions of dollars in cash and gold in the bunker. Austin mentioned that the US would continue to collaborate with Israel to gain more information. Fadi Alameh, a Lebanese lawmaker and the director of the hospital in question, called Israel's claims false and slanderous.
