Staff Sgt. Sivan Asraf, 20, was killed when Hamas terrorists overran the Nahal Oz IDF base on October 7. Sivan had enlisted in the IDF in October 2021 and was celebrating her last weekend on base before being released. She was killed while trying to run for safety from the bomb shelter that had been attacked by the Hamas invaders. Sivan was described as kind, gentle, and always willing to help others. Her family remembers her as a beautiful girl who loved life and had many dreams for her future.
