Israeli airstrikes targeted multiple locations near Tehran, including the S-300 defense system at Imam Khomeini International Airport and three Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps missile bases. The strikes also hit the secretive Parchin military base, with one drone successfully hitting the site and others being downed. This comes after previous Israeli airstrikes on the S-300 defense system near Iran's Natanz nuclear site in April. In 2022, an engineer was killed and another injured in a drone attack on the Parchin military complex.
