Jerusalem recently hosted a unique Ultimate frisbee tournament at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem's Givat Ram track and field stadium in honor of fallen IDF soldier Sgt.-Maj. Yosef Malachi Guedalia. Guedalia was killed defending the Gaza border community of Kfar Aza in 2023. The tournament, organized by Guedalia's family, brought together over 130 players and 100 family members to celebrate his memory and love for the sport. The event was a fitting tribute to Guedalia, who was known for his athleticism and his ability to bring people together through the sport.
