Judge said to extend remand of IDF reserves officer suspected in intel leaks case

A court has extended the remand of an IDF reserves officer suspected in an intelligence leaks case involving the Prime Minister's Office. The suspect is one of five people arrested in the affair, which involves allegations of stolen military intelligence being transferred to foreign media outlets. The case remains under gag order, but it is believed that an 'infrastructure' was able to access classified material held by IDF Military Intelligence. The leaked material endangers the lives of IDF soldiers and hampers efforts to free hostages.
