Lyft is partnering with Mobileye and Nexar to bring robotaxis to its platform. The partnerships are part of Lyft's efforts to integrate self-driving cars into its ride-hailing app. Mobileye's Drive self-driving system will be integrated with Lyft's platform, allowing vehicles owned by third-party fleet operators to access the rideshare network. Nexar will provide video telematics to help build safer autonomous technology, using its vehicle-to-vehicle network and AI-powered dashcam app. The collaboration aims to create a comprehensive dataset for AV technology development.
