The International Criminal Court's governing body will launch an external investigation into its chief prosecutor Karim Khan over alleged sexual misconduct. Khan is called on to temporarily step down from his role while the inquiry is ongoing. The investigation was agreed upon at a meeting of the court's governing body. Pressure is mounting on Khan to step aside and let one of his deputy prosecutors take over during the investigation.
