Artists in Gaza have had their paintings and artworks smuggled out of the territory to share the harrowing reality of the conflict. The artworks depict the brutality of war and the hardship endured by the artists who have been displaced and lost their homes. The exhibition features 79 artworks crafted from improvised materials and using natural pigments made from hibiscus, pomegranate, and tea. The paintings aim to convey the voices, cries, tears, and nightmares witnessed daily in Gaza to the outside world.
