The curriculum has been criticized for radicalizing Palestinian youth, with some pointing to the October 7 massacre as an example of the effects of such education. The London and Tel-Aviv-based Institute for Monitoring Peace and Cultural Tolerance in School Education (IMPACT-se) argues that changes in educational content can make a meaningful impact. However, some experts believe that revising textbooks alone may not be enough to counter deeply ingrained radicalization.
