Israel's antisemitism envoy, Michal Cotler-Wunsh, has described 2024 as a year of a 'tsunami' of antisemitism, following a violent attack against Jews in Amsterdam. Cotler-Wunsh stated that the attack was not unique to Europe and that it is part of a larger trend of antisemitism around the world. She highlighted the mainstreaming of antisemitism, including anti-Zionism, which denies Israel's right to exist. Cotler-Wunsh also mentioned other incidents, such as the shattering of windows at a kosher restaurant in Washington, D.C. and an attack on a father and his six-year-old in New York.
