Staff Sgt. Brando Flores Garcia, 21, was killed on October 7 while battling the Hamas invasion of the Kissufim IDF outpost. Born in Peru, Brando moved to Israel in 2017 and quickly excelled in soccer. He joined the Maccabi Beersheba team and enlisted in the army in 2021 to continue playing soccer professionally.
