Palestinian Islamic Jihad confirmed that two of its leaders were killed in an Israeli airstrike in Damascus. The leaders were identified as head of foreign relations Rasmi Abu Issa and member of the Political Bureau Abd Alaziz al-Minawi. Israel continued to target PIJ headquarters in Damascus, striking commander centers and terrorist infrastructure. The attacks resulted in 15 deaths and 16 injuries in residential areas of the Syrian capital.
