A rare Bearded Reedling, once thought to be extinct, has been spotted in Israel after nearly 30 years. The bird was seen in the Beersheba River Park by bird watcher Dov Leibowitz. Bearded Reedlings have only been documented in Israel 12 times, with the last sighting in 1995.
