Four Italian UN peacekeepers were injured in a rocket attack on their headquarters in Lebanon, while paramedics and health facilities were also targeted. The attacks escalated after US envoy Amos Hochstein left Tel Aviv following discussions with Israeli and Lebanese officials. The UN Interim Force in Lebanon reported that the peacekeepers' injuries were not life-threatening. Italy's prime minister expressed her concern and called for the safety of UNIFIL soldiers. Meanwhile, Israeli forces carried out airstrikes on Beirut's suburbs and continued their attempts to advance into southern towns.
