Young Jews from around the world are enlisting in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) following the devastating attack by Hamas on October 7, 2023. Many of these individuals were safely abroad during the assault but felt a strong desire to serve and defend Israel. They have joined the Tzofim Garin Tzabar program, which provides intensive preparation for immigration and enlistment in the IDF. The program has received an unprecedented number of applications this year, with participants coming from 28 different countries. These young adults undergo extensive training and support before beginning their military service.
