Israeli air strikes in Beirut have killed at least 11 people and injured dozens as diplomats attempt to broker a ceasefire. The strikes were the fourth on the Lebanese capital in less than a week. The escalation comes after US envoy Amos Hochstein traveled to the region in an attempt to end the fighting between Israel and Hezbollah. Israeli bombardment has killed over 3,500 people in Lebanon and displaced about 1.2 million. In Gaza, at least six people were killed in strikes, bringing the death toll in the fighting between Israel and Hamas to over 44,000.
