The International Criminal Court (ICC) accuses Israel of genocide in Gaza, but evidence regarding IDF aid distribution tells a different story. The ICC issued arrest warrants against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former defense minister Yoav Gallant, charging them with being responsible for a 'systematic' attack on the civilian population. However, the ICC's justification does not mention Hamas' attacks on Israel or Israel's efforts to warn the population of impending military operations. The High Level Military Group (HLMG), an association of military leaders and officials from NATO and other democratic countries, presented evidence that contradicts the ICC's claims. The HLMG found that the IDF operates according to a clear chain of command and does not have a policy of starving civilians. The ICC's decision to act against the leaders of a democratic state with a functioning judicial system has been criticized.
