German federal prosecutors have charged four suspected members of Hamas for setting up weapons depots across Europe. The suspects, including two men born in Lebanon, an Egyptian citizen, and a Dutch man, are accused of being involved in sourcing and storing weapons for the Palestinian terror group. The storage sites were intended for possible attacks against Jewish institutions in Europe, with potential targets including the Israeli embassy in Berlin and the US Air Base in Ramstein. The suspects were arrested in December 2023.
