A snap television poll found that Israelis are divided over the ceasefire agreement with Hezbollah in Lebanon. Among supporters of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's governing coalition, only 20% support the deal, while 45% oppose it. However, among voters for opposition parties, 50% support the ceasefire deal framework. The national security cabinet approved the deal 10 ministers to one, with National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir as the sole opponent. The poll also revealed that the balance of power between the pro-Netanyahu and anti-Netanyahu blocs in the Knesset remains unchanged.
