Israel and the US have reportedly reached a side agreement as part of the Israel-Hezbollah ceasefire deal. The US will provide Israel with intelligence on Hezbollah activity and cooperate against the Iranian threat. Israel is affirmed in its right to defend itself and act in response to threats from inside Lebanon. The letter also allows Israel to conduct reconnaissance flights over Lebanon.
