Anti-Israel protesters disrupt Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

Anti-Israel protesters disrupted the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City, with 21 people arrested after jumping barricades and sitting on the parade route. The protesters displayed Palestinian flags and a 'Don't Celebrate Genocide' banner, chanting 'Free, free Palestine!' as a giant Ronald McDonald balloon approached. Despite the disruption, the parade continued with ponchos, umbrellas, giant balloons, floats, and performances from celebrities like Jennifer Hudson and Idina Menzel. The parade featured 17 giant character balloons, 22 floats, 15 novelty and heritage inflatables, 11 marching bands, 700 clowns, and more.
