Israeli defense company Rafael, maker of the Iron Dome air defense system, has announced a record-breaking order backlog of 60 billion shekels ($15.8 billion) to be fulfilled over the next four years. Net profit for the third quarter soared to 189 million shekels ($50 million), compared to just 11 million shekels ($3 million) in Q1 2023. Sales for the quarter totaled 4.5 billion shekels ($1.18 billion), a 36% year-on-year increase. Domestic sales to the IDF accounted for 56% of revenue.
