This episode of BBC Radio 4's series 'The Warsaw Ghetto: History as Survival' focuses on the Oyneg Shabes Archive, which documented life in the Warsaw Ghetto from 1940-43. Rachel Auerbach, one of the few survivors of the archive, witnesses its rescue from the ruins of the ghetto. The archive, which includes diaries, essays, photographs, and more, was buried during the war and rediscovered in 1947.
