Iran sees the ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah as an opportunity to rebuild the Lebanon-based terror organization and restore deterrence. Hezbollah may have lost up to 4,000 people in the war, while Israeli forces killed around 3,000 Hezbollah operatives. Iran's other proxies in the region provided minimal support during Israel's military campaign. Iran has promised to allocate funds for reconstruction and ensure Hezbollah's survival. However, it is unclear how much Iran can do now as its own economy has suffered due to sanctions.
