Loud explosions were heard in Damascus early Tuesday following around 250 Israeli air strikes on Syrian territory, targeting key military installations across the country since the fall of president Bashar Assad. Israel has destroyed important military sites in Syria, including airports, warehouses, aircraft squadrons, radars, signal stations, and weapons depots. The strikes also damaged Syrian naval ships and military warehouses near the port city of Latakia. In and around the capital Damascus, military installations, research centers, and the electronic warfare administration were targeted. The explosions in Damascus were heard hours after the strikes.
