The Hadassah Academic College in Jerusalem has launched a career development program for French-speaking immigrants, aiming to help them build optometry careers in Israel. The program allows 28 French-speaking students to study in French while also taking Hebrew language courses in optometry. The Aliyah and Integration Ministry has seen a significant increase in applications from France due to a surge in antisemitism. The program provides extensive support to students, including full tuition coverage, housing assistance, tutoring services, and integration counseling. The college plans to expand the number of programs tailored for new immigrants in various fields.
