Northern hospitals move out of underground bunkers after months of war

Northern hospitals in Israel have moved out of underground bunkers and returned to their regular wards after months of war with Hezbollah. During the conflict, hospitals in northern Israel were instructed to transfer their operations to bunker-like facilities for protection from attacks. The Galilee Medical Center, Ziv Medical Center, and Rambam Medical Center treated thousands of civilians and soldiers during the war. While the ceasefire has brought temporary relief, hospital staff remain prepared to go underground again if necessary. The hospitals are working with the Health Ministry and Home Front Command to improve security and emergency preparedness in case of future conflicts.
