The humanitarian crisis in Yemen could worsen if Israel continues to attack Hodeidah seaport and Sanaa airport, warns the UN. The country already has one of the highest numbers of malnourished children and ranks third in terms of food insecurity. The civil war has decimated the economy and left millions without access to basic necessities. Israeli warplanes recently struck the international airport in Sanaa, as well as seaports and power stations, killing at least four people. The UN Secretary-General condemned the airstrikes and expressed concern about the risks to humanitarian operations.
