The director of Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, Hossam Abu Safiyeh, has been detained by Israeli forces, according to officials from the Gaza Health Ministry. The Gaza civil defense agency also confirmed the detention, stating that the agency's director for the north, Ahmed Hassan al-Kahlout, was among those held. The IDF has not yet confirmed the detentions, but previously stated that it had been conducting operations against Hamas infrastructure and operatives in the area.
