AG: Premier's appointment of acting civil service chief 'unreasonable in the extreme'

Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara informs Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that his choice for acting civil service commissioner does not meet the necessary criteria for the position, creating a legal obstacle to the appointment. Deputy Attorney General Gil Limon states that the appointee, Roi Kahlon, lacks sufficient management experience and that the appointment would be 'unreasonable in the extreme.' Limon emphasizes that Kahlon's resume falsely claims greater managerial experience than he actually possesses. Despite this, Limon acknowledges the importance of Kahlon's role in the State Attorney's Office and the civil service.
