Staff Sgt. Orel Moshe, a 21-year-old kashrut supervisor in the IDF's 7th Armored Brigade, was killed during the Hamas invasion of the Yiftah IDF outpost near Zikim on October 7. Orel, who grew up in an ultra-Orthodox family, decided to enlist in the IDF and served as a combat soldier in the Golani Brigade before becoming a kashrut supervisor. He was described as responsible, dedicated, and with a good sense of humor. Orel's family and friends remember him as a moral and loving person who accepted everyone. He was buried on October 11 in Kfar Hasidim.
