A Texas man drove his truck through a crowd of revelers in New Orleans, killing 15 people and injuring dozens more before opening fire. Among those killed were Ni'Kyra Cheyenne Dedeaux, a young woman who had been celebrating New Year's Eve with her cousin, and Reggie Hunter, a father of two who had made a quick trip to New Orleans. Tiger Bech, a former football player at Princeton University, was also among the victims. The attack was the deadliest in the U.S. in over a year.
