An Israeli airstrike in southern Gaza has resulted in the deaths of at least 10 Palestinians, including women and children, in a tent encampment designated as a humanitarian area. Fifteen others were wounded in the attack. The Israeli military has not yet commented on the incident. This airstrike adds to the already high death toll in the war in Gaza, with more than 45,500 Palestinians killed according to health officials in the Hamas-run enclave. The conflict was triggered by Hamas' attack on Israel in 2023.
